It's a bit rich to call it an all terrain vehicle when the instructions say not to use it on hills or on rough ground!

Hi Kay
This statement is more about your safety than the knee scooter. We don't want you going down mountain bike tracks as the scooter is made for someone with an injury.
Uneven ground or slopes are fine. The scooters have a warranty and are fit for purpose. We just want to discourage people using them as a toy.

Thanks Rehab Supplies

KNEE SCOOTER KC2 ALL TERRAIN

extremely happy with this product, it gives me the freedom of movement that i need, it is robust and well built my only complaint is that the cushion for you knee could be slightly larger as I've used other scooters with a larger cushion which does allow for a more comfortable ride.

Sturdy scooter great for outdoors

This sturdy scooter does exactly what it's supposed to do -- it's great on boardwalks, rough sidewalks, etc., with a super soft pad for the knee. You have to make sure the the tires are fully inflated or moving it becomes a chore. If you're not doing a lot outdoors you're better off with a more conventional, lighter more maneuverable model. (I have one of each.) My only complaint is with the brakes -- there's only a brake on the right side, whereas other scooters give you more versatility with brakes on both. Also the brake lock is very stiff, tough to work.

Hi Michael
Thanks for the review
Re brake ; We only have the one brake handle as we use one drum brake that is protected from water .We Found if we used the disk brakes with two handles if you went through a puddle the disk would get wet and would not stop as quick
Re Brake lock : the brake lock will soften as it is new.
Once again thanks for the review and feedback
